Why We Started This Site
We’ve had a great time growing a CrossFit fan page on Facebook that provided inspiration for fans of cross functional fitness. The growth of the page sort of surprised us. Every once in awhile, we would come back and the page would have doubled in size. We’re able to post stuff because it fires us up and gets us inspired to keep working out and sharing with the community.
As the page grew, we also realized there would be an opportunity to connect a lot of the great companies that build great things for athletes with the people who love it.
Find it Here
We’re currently partnering with a bunch of excellent, lesser known American companies. The search bar can be used to search all of our partners. The list is coming along nicely, and we will continue to partner with trustworthy, high quality companies who make excellent gear.
One of our main focuses is to help American creators build successful businesses around their products. If you know of a cool, reputable company that has great american fitness gear, please let us know about them. We’re constantly on the lookout for the best gear, food, nootropics or anything related to higher athletic performance.
CrossFit Proud
Five years ago I had never done an olympic lift, I couldn’t climb ropes, my handstands could only hold for about 3 seconds and my overall strength was pretty sad. I remember first trying to hang clean 60 kgs for my first Open workout and I couldn’t even get it up.
Now, five years later, I can cross the room back and forth on my hands, climb ropes like they are stairs and my olympic lifting is on point.
I was always really fit… but this activity really took my fitness to a new level. The results were greater than anything I had seen in the past.
So when I hear the negative press about CrossFit, it makes me question the press. How could this activity, which provided me with the best growth in strength in my life, be considered negative?
It’s not clear what the naysayers are saying… but it’s important we don’t fall into believing people who are driven by jealousy, pretension or whatever they are inspired by.
At the end of the day, it’s just not for them. The people who get it, get it.
So we’re going to keep building these resources to help people get fired up and stay consistent athletes.
