Alexis Johnson had an outstanding performance in Event 2 taking the win.
Brandon Luckett took the win for Event 3 and 4. This is Luckett’s fifth appearance at Regionals, and his third Top 10 finish.
Three time CrossFit Games individual athlete Rogelio Gamboa took Event 4 and second place on the podium.
Colleen Fotsch tried to turn things around, winning both Events 4 and 5.
Margaux Alvarez put in a solid effort and pushed hard all weekend to take first place overall on the podium.
Camille Leblanc-Bazinet is back! After having to withdraw from competition due to injury on the first day of the 2017 CrossFit Games, she’s worked harder than ever before to qualify for the 2018 Games. Camille has qualified eight times to compete at the CrossFit Games, and won the 2014 CrossFit Games, and the title of Fittest On Earth. Does she have what it takes to make the comeback of all comebacks at the 2018 CrossFit Games?
Team Don’t Stop we’re clear winners and dominated all weekend taking 1st place in Event 1, 4, 5 & 6 and stood proud on top of the podium.
This would of been Salt Lake City CF Gold 1st CrossFit Games appearance, however in light of recent drug testing, they will not be competing at the Games this year due to disqualification for Lauren Shawver being in breach of the CrossFit drug policy. This means BackCountry Black will take the last qualifying spot to the 2018 CrossFit Games now that Salt Lake City CF Gold has been disqualified from the Games.
